Beer Events This Week Captured in Beer Photo Friday

In this week's Beer Photo Friday,  I was excited to see people taking advantage of the beer events that are becoming so common these days.

1. Philly Beer Week
was drinking a Yards Poor Richard's Tavern Spruce for Philly Beer Week.  Philly Beer Week has only been around since 2008, but it's the event that kicked off all of these Beer Weeks in America: San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, Chicago, New York, Sacramento, Los Angeles.  Click here for a full schedule of this week's events.  Don't be surprised if I spontaneously jump on a cross-country plane to join in on the festivities.  I've been known to do that.

2.  The New Tasting Room at Green Flash
I was jealous that  was tweeting from the grand opening of  Green Flash's new tasting room in Mira Mesa, CA. This new tasting room boasts 4000 square feet, 30 taps, and a Beer Garden in the warm San Diego climate.

Thanks to these Twitter friends for their fantastic beer photos!

  1. I was at the green flash opening, it was super awesome. Chuck silva was there, talked about their barrel program with him, the owner was passing out free samples of 30th street pale to people waiting in line at the bar, and GF was pouring some great beers. it's definitely worth the trip any time you're in san diego.

  2. That sounds like an amazing event! How's the tasting room on a regular day?
